2008 Year End Report

Over the last 11 years, the Next Generation Alliance’s membership, under the direction of Dr. Tim Robnett, has grown to include more than 200 evangelists. In 2008 alone, 33 evangelists were accepted as new NGA members. Global Representation of NGA Membership

Arise Africa ’08

Through NGA’s Arise Uganda in 2004 and its subsequent work from 2005-2007, more than 610,000 people heard the Good News of Jesus Christ, and 66,000 publicly responded to the Gospel. The success inspired similar outreaches in India and South America, and the desire for an even broader reach in Africa.

Arise Africa ’08 was the natural next step. From September 2-5, 2008, nearly 300 evangelists and church leaders came from Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, D.R. Congo, Malawi, and Uganda to Gaba, Uganda. There they received training and encouragement from 12 local and international NGA evangelists and their key staff. Read the full story here

Extend the Impact Conference

Bringing Hope to Rwanda

From April to July 1994, one of the most horrifying events in modern history occurred as nearly one million Rwandan people were killed in the span of 100 days.
This July, 2008, two NGA evangelists participated in a collaborative event in Rwanda in partnership with Hope Rwanda and Africa New Life Ministries. The goal of the mission was to bring hope and peace through Jesus Christ during the same time period of the genocide...Read the full story here

Arise Uganda and Beyond

Luis Palau’s Next Generation Alliance® launched Arise Uganda in July, 2004 as an outreach in partnership with Africa Renewal Ministry. In just one month, 15 cities were reached through 12 evangelists and their teams. Christians were trained in friendship evangelism and how to lead people to Christ; IDP camps were reached with the Gospel; medical clinics brought relief from physical ailments; conferences equipped church leaders to a new level of ministry; and children’s programs, sports clinics, and competitions brought fun for the youth. Hope and Courage Across America

NGA evangelist Bob Mortimer and his family team will ride their bicycles bob and fam across the United States from Gig Harbor, WA to New York City. Bob will propel his handcycle with one arm and be the key speaker at motivational rallies along the route. For more information on Bob Mortimer and to follow their journey, click here.
